The National Gallery of Victoria was founded in 1861.
It consists of two sections: the NGV International art gallery and the NGV Australia art gallery.
At NGV International you can see the works of such masters as Rembrandt, Titian, and Manet.
Whereas NGV Australia presents the art of Aborigines and Australian painters representing different periods, from classic colonial painters, through Australian Impressionists to contemporary artists.

Museums Victoria (MV) founded in 1854.
The MV includes, among others: Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum, Scienceworks, Royal Exhibition Building, Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Center. The MV collection includes, among others, paleontology, zoology, artifacts of traditional indigenous cultures of Australia and the Pacific. The entire collection is over 17 million exhibits.

The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) founded in 1860.
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts has five pavilions that showcase archeology and ancient art, the international art collection, Quebec and Canadian art, modern and contemporary art, decorative arts and design. The international art collection includes works by, among others, Rembrandt, Dürer, El Greco, Goya, Delacroix, Cézanne, Matisse, Miró, Monet, Picasso, Renoir, Rodin, Dalí, Moore. The collection also includes: Coptic fabrics, English porcelain, Japanese incense boxes and stained glass.
The entire collection includes over 43,000 exhibits.
The total area is 53,095 square meters, of which the exhibition area is 13,000 square meters.

The Mucem, Museum of the Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean was opened in 2013.
The total area is 45,000 square meters, of which the exhibition area is 4,900 square meters.
The museum has collected over a million objects and documents in its collections.
The Mucem presents exhibitions in the field of anthropology, archeology, history and art.

Mont Saint-Michel rocky tidal island with church-abbey and "Merveille" (a monastery built between 1211-1228 in the Gothic style). The origins of the monastery date back to the 8th century. The entire medieval building is surrounded by fortifications from the 13th and 15th centuries.
Mont Saint-Michel area 97 ha, highest point above sea level 92 meters.
Mont Saint-Michel has been a monument since 1874. There are three museums in it.

Created in April 2016 on the initiative of the French contemporary art collector Philippe Méaille, the Château de Montsoreau - Museum of contemporary art is a radical, committed, living place.
Its permanent collection is the world's largest collection of works from the Art & Language movement.
It is located two hours from Paris, in the Loire Valley World Heritage of Unesco.
Innovative, experimental and unexpected, the cultural program of the Château de Montsoreau - Museum of contemporary art is organized around temporary exhibitions, events, meetings, concerts and performances.

German Museum of Masterpieces of Science and Technology known as Deutsches Museum founded in 1903.
It collects collections from almost all fields of technology, industry and science. Its collections include: the first electric locomotive, a three-wheeled car from 1886 designed by Karl Benz and a Leibniz accounting machine.
The museum has gathered around 120,000 exhibits, of which around 28,000 are open to the public at exhibitions.
It covers an area of over 60,000 square meters.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) opened to the public in 1922.
The museum houses over 50,000 artifacts from India, China, Japan and Europe.
The museum documents the history of India from prehistoric times to the present day. The museum houses artifacts of the Indus Valley civilization and other relics from ancient India from the times of the Gupta, Maury, Chalukyas and Rashtrakuta; paintings of the major Indian schools of Mughal, Rajasthani, Pahari and Deccani; manuscripts from all over the last millennium; arts and crafts of ivory, jade, silver and gold.

The Mysore Palace was the official residence of the Princely State of Mysore.
The palace was built in the years 1897-1912 in the Indian-Saracenic style.
Palace dimensions; length 74.7 meters, width 47.5 meters, height 44.2 meters.
The Residential Museum is located in the palace complex.
In the palace, you can see, among others: a jeweled golden throne and a golden howdah (elephant seat).

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan, dan Ratu Boko (commonly abbreviated TWC) founded in 1980 is a state-owned company that deals with the management of tourist facilities.
PT TWC manages primarily:
- Borobudur - the largest Buddhist temple complex in the world, built between 750 and 850 CE

Palazzo Reale di Milano (the Royal Palace of Milan) with medieval origins, renovated many times. In the years 1773-1778 restored in the Neo-Classical style, then the most famous interior of the Hall of the Caryatids (46 by 17 meters) was arranged, destroyed in 1943 during World War II.
In 1980, repair projects for the interior of the palace began in order to create a "Palace Museum", which, however, did not come into being. Currently, the Municipality of Milan organizes loud international exhibitions of modern and contemporary art in the palace. The Museum of the Duomo of Milan has been operating in the wing of the palace since 2013.
The palace covers an area of 7,000 square meters.

The National Museum of Anthropology has been open since 1964.
Exposition area: 44,000 square meters.
In the museum you can see archaeological and ethnographic collections from 2500 BC to the present day.

The National Museum of History (MNH) was opened to the public in Castillo de Chapultepec in 1944.
The exhibitions show the history of Mexico, from the conquest of Spain, through the colonial era, the war of independence, to the revolution of 1910.

Museo Soumaya founded in 2011.
It has 66,000 works of art in its collection; including sculptures from all periods of pre-Hispanic Mesoamerica, paintings by Mexican artists such as Diego Rivera or Rufino Tamayo, a collection of coins from pre-Hispanic and colonial times. Museo Soumaya has a collection of works by European sculptors and painters, including: Auguste Rodin, Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró.
The museum is located in 3 places: Plaza Carso (16,000 square meters), Plaza Loreto, Casa Guillermo Tovar de Teresa.

The Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (University Museum of Contemporary Art) abbreviated MUAC at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico) abbreviated UNAM was opened in 2008.
The MUAC houses the largest public collection of contemporary art in Mexico. It includes works by visual artists, sound art, audiovisual, kinetic and performative activities created mainly in Mexico after 1952 - the year UNAM was inaugurated.

Museo Nacional de Arte (MUNAL) was founded in 1982 and is a branch of the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA).
The MUNAL collection presenting the history of Mexican art from the mid-16th century to the mid-20th century. The collection includes works by José María Velasco, Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, José Clemente Orozco and David Alfaro Siqueiros, among others.
The permanent collection includes over 3,000 works and covers an exhibition area of 3,500 square meters.

Templo Mayor - the most important religious building of the Aztecs. Its construction began after 1325. The expansion continued in six stages until it was destroyed by the Spaniards in 1521.
Templo Mayor was located in the center of the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlán, which is now Mexico City. Templo Mayor was the main building of the Sacred Precinct, which included 78 more smaller buildings.
Templo Mayor was shaped like a stepped pyramid with two temples at the top. The architectural style of Templo Mayor belongs to the late post-classical Mesoamerican period. Approximate dimensions of Templo Mayor, base 100 by 80 meters, height 60 meters.
The Museum of the Templo Mayor was opened in 1987.
The Museo y Zona Arqueológica del Templo Mayor covers an area of over 3,000 ha.

Machu Picchu - the best preserved city of the Incas.
Built from around 1450, abandoned in 1572, which was associated with the appearance of the conquistadors.
The most important monuments:
- Intihuatana stone,
- Temple of the Sun or Torreon,
- Room of the Three Windows,
- a special cave Inti Mach'ay.
Artifacts from Machu Picchu are on display at the Museo Machu Picchu, La Casa Concha.

The Ayala Museum, established in 1967, is run by the Ayala Foundation Inc.
The most important collections include archaeological, ethnographic, historical, fine arts, numismatics, and ecclesiastical exhibits. The Ayala Museum has, among others, 60 dioramas depicting the history of the Philippines from cavemen to the present day and a collection of over 1,000 gold objects from the 10th to 13th centuries.
The Filipinas Heritage Library operates at the museum.

National Museum of the Philippines created in 1901.
The National Museum Complex in Manila includes the National Museum of Fine Arts, National Museum of Anthropology, National Museum of Natural History, and National Planetarium.
In the National Museum of the Philippines, among the National Cultural Treasures on display you can find: Manunggul Burial Jar from the Neolithic period, Butuan Balangay Boat dated 320 AD which is the first balangay excavated by the National Museum of the Philippines, astrolabes recovered from the wreckage of the San Diego galleon.
The National Museum of the Philippines manages over a dozen regional museums located all over the Philippines, and regional museums have a dozen more a regional branches.

The Palácio Nacional de Mafra (National Palace of Mafra) consists of a palace, basilica, convent (which includes a library), Cerco Garden and hunting park (Tapada). Built in the years 1717-1755 in the baroque and neoclassical styles. The entire complex covers 37,790 square meters with approximately 1,200 rooms.
As a museum, it officially opened to the public in 1911. Currently, the National Museum of Music is being moved to the palace complex.

The origins of the Moscow Kremlin Museums go back to the Kremlin Armory Museum founded in 1806.
The Moscow Kremlin Museums include, among others:

The Tretyakov Gallery founded in 1856.
The Tretyakov Gallery collects Russian art from the 11th century to the present day.

Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts was opened in 1912.
Currently, it has around 700,000 European art exhibits.

The Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in short The Garage Museum was founded in 2008.
The museum focuses mainly on Russian modern and contemporary art from the 1950s to the present day, but is also interested in the most important phenomena of European and world art and culture of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow (MAMM) began in 1996 as the Moscow House of Photography.
MAMM is a state institution that specializes in contemporary art (graphics, drawings and posters) and new media, including photography, video art, and other multimedia forms. Its collection includes works by artists such as Alexander Rodchenko. The total number of exhibits is approximately 90,000.
MAMM covers an area of approximately 9,000 square meters, of which approximately 3,000 square meters are devoted to exhibitions.

Reina Sofía was opened in 1990.
It presents contemporary Spanish art in an international context from the end of the 19th century to the present day. Pablo Picasso's painting Guernica from 1937 is exhibited in Reina Sofía. Other artists whose artistic achievements are in the collection of Reina Sofía are, for example: Salvador Dali, Joan Miró, Juan Gris, Georges Braque, Francis Bacon, Alexander Calder, René Magritte, Robert Delaunay, Man Ray and Yves Klein.
The collection comprises over 20,000 works, five percent of which are on display.
The museum also houses an art library with over 100,000 books.

Museo Nacional del Prado was founded in 1819.
The collection includes works from the royal collection, collected from the 16th to the 20th century.
- Spanish painting - from Romanesque art to the 20th century, you can find works of artists such as: El Greco, Diego Velázquez, Francisco Goya, Pablo Picasso, the works of Velazquez (almost 50 works) and Goya (over 140 paintings) are most widely represented,
- Italian painting - from the 15th to the 18th century, the best collection of paintings from the Venetian school, including works of Titian, Veronese and Tintoretto,
- Flemish painting - from the 15th to the 17th century, presentation of the works of Rogier van der Weyden, Bosch,
- French painting - from the 16th to the early 19th century, e.g. paintings by Poussin and Lorrain,
- Greek sculpture - two original sculptures from the archaic period (including kuros from the 6th century BC), Roman copies of the works of Greek masters from the classical period (a miniature copy of Athena Partenos by Fidias, a copy of Athena Myron from the group Athena and Marsia,
- a collection of drawings from the 15th to the 19th century, the Spanish school looks best here (including Goya), but you can also find drawings by Michelangelo,
- graphics - a rich collection consists of Franco Goya's cycles.

The Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza opened in 1992.
The collection includes 800 years of Western art; about 1,600 paintings by, among others, Van Eyck, Dürer, Caravaggio, Rubens, Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Goya, Delacroix, Van Gogh, Pissarro, Munch, Chagall, Pollock, Rothko, Bacon.

Palacio Real de Madrid (Royal Palace of Madrid) built between 1735-1764 in the classical baroque style. It is the official residence of the Spanish royal family and the largest royal palace in Western Europe. It has 3,418 rooms and covers an area of 135,000 square meters.
The palace is decorated with frescoes by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo and Anton Raphael Mengs. The interiors exhibit oil paintings by artists such as Caravaggio, Francisco de Goya, Velázquez and a set of five string instruments made by Antonio Stradivari (Stradivarius Palatinos). The palace houses, among others, the Royal Armory and the Crown Room.
The origins of the museum date back to 1935.

The Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) was founded in 1883.
More than 90,000 works of art represent 20,000 years of world history.
Mia's collection includes art from the Americas, Asia (ceramics, bronzes, jade), Africa and Oceania. Painting (paintings by e.g. El Greco, Rembrandt, Henri Matisse, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin), sculpture, graphics, drawing, decorative art, contemporary art, photography and new media.
About 5 percent of the total collection is on permanent exhibitions.
