Diocesanmuseum St. Afra was opened in 2000.
Located just behind the Cathedral the Diocesanmuseum St. Afra presents sacred art from 17 centuries. In these partly historical partly newly created rooms the exciting and eventful history of church and art in and around Augsburg comes alive.
The Museum holds an extensive collection of Baroque Augsburg goldsmith's work from liturgical equipment and reliquaries. The most beautiful of which are permanently on display in the exhibition. Special works, such as the textiles from the 10th century, the cathedral's Ottonian bronze portal or the funeral weapons of Emperor Charles V, are unique in their form.

The Topography of Terror opened to the public in 2010.
During the Third Reich (1933-1945), the site currently occupied by The Topography of Terror was the seat of the Gestapo, SS and the Reich Main Security Office. Nazi buildings were destroyed by the Allied bombing in 1945. Later the Berlin Wall passed through this place. A large part of the Wall in The Topography of Terror survived to this day. The first exhibitions in this place took place from 1987.

The Berlin Wall Memorial created in 1998 commemorates the division of Berlin by Walls and the victims of the Berlin Wall. It stretches along 1.4 kilometers of the former border strip between Berlin (the capital of the DDR) and West Berlin. Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. The Wall Memorial includes: the outdoor memorial site with the last piece of the Berlin Wall, Documentation center, Chapel of Reconciliation, memorial window and Visitor Service Center,

The German Historical Museum (DHM) was founded in 1987 and opened its first exhibitions to the public in 1991.
DHM presents the history of Germany from the Middle Ages (when formally there was no country using the name Germany) to the present day in an international context.
The collection comprises about 1,000,000 exhibits. You can see, among others, the boat that escaped two GDR citizens or the prosthetic hand of a medieval knight.

The Altes Museum opened to the public in 1830.
It is part of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin belonging to Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz.
Currently, the Altes Museum houses the Antikensammlung (Collection of Classical Antiquities) and part of the Münzkabinett.
The Antikensammlung is composed of the art of the Greeks (10th - 1st century BC), Etruscans and Romans. In addition to stone carvings and ceramics, you can see here products made of gold and precious stones.
The Münzkabinett presents over 1,300 coins (7th century BC - 3rd century AD).

Pergamonmuseum opened to the public in 1930.
It is part of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin belonging to Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz.
The exhibition is divided into Antiquities Collection, Museum of the Ancient Near East, Museum of Islamic Art. The Pergamonmuseum collects monuments of ancient architecture, e.g. the Pergamon Altar, the Ishtar Gate.

The Jewish Museum Berlin was opened in 2001.
It is the largest Jewish museum in Europe.
The museum presents the history of Jews in Germany from the Middle Ages to the present day from a Jewish point of view.
The permanent exhibition "Jewish life in Germany: the past and the present", opened in 2020, covering an area of over 3,500 square meters, has more than 1,000 objects, of which over 70% comes from the museum's own collection.
The museum's collection is divided into four areas: ceremonial and applied arts, fine arts, photography and everyday culture.

The Humboldt Forum, open to the public in 2021, is located in the Berlin Palace on the Museum Island.
The Humboldt Forum houses the non-European collections of Berlin's state museums. The Humboldt Forum consists of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz with the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst der Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin, the Stadtmuseum Berlin together with Kulturprojekte Berlin, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Stiftung Humboldt Forum im Berliner Schloss.

The Natural History Museum - Leibniz Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity Science (Museum für Naturkunde [MfN] - Leibniz Institut für Evolutions und Biodiversitätsforschung) dates back to 1810.
MfN is one of the world's most important research institutions in the field of biological and geoscientific evolution and biodiversity.
MfN has in its collections, inter alia, the largest mounted dinosaur in the world (a Giraffatitan skeleton) and the largest piece of amber in the world.
MfN stores over 30 million objects in the field of zoology, palaeontology, geology and mineralogy, of which 0.02% is exhibited.
The exhibition area is 4,400 square meters.

Haus der Geschichte, Bonn (House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany) together with the Zeitgeschichtliches Forum, Leipzig and Tränenpalast, Berlin and the Museum in der Kulturbrauerei, Berlin are part of the Haus der Geschichte Foundation, Bonn.
House of the History, Bonn opened to the public in 1994.
It presents the history of Germany in international terms from 1945 to the present.
The exhibition area of 4,000 square meters houses over 7,000 exhibits.
The House of the History and the German Historical Museum, in collaboration with the German Federal Archives, run the LeMO (Lebendiges Museum Online) Living Museum Online - an online portal on German history that covers the period from the 19th century to the present day. LeMO available online since 1999.

Cologne Cathedral Roman Catholic erected in the Gothic style. Built in 1248-1473 and 1842-1880. Length 144.58 meters, width 86.25 meters, height 157.38 meters. It holds, among others, the Shrine of the Three Kings from around 1180-1225 and the Crucifix of Bishop Gero from around 970.

The Lippisches Landesmuseum, located in the heart of Detmold, houses extensive collections in the fields of art, culture, and natural history. The selection of exhibits ranges from Stone Age artifacts to historical toys, furniture, clothing, and valuable oil paintings. The exhibition "Mythos" showcases the most comprehensive collection nationwide on the history of the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest between the Germanic tribes and the Romans. Numerous objects and modern media illustrate how this historical event became a myth of German history.
The "Cultures of the World" collection holds a very special treasure: a 6,500-year-old child mummy from Peru. It is considered the oldest mummy that can be viewed in Europe, older than Ötzi and nearly twice as old as the mummy of the pharaoh Tutankhamun.
Local forests and exotic animal worlds from savannas, rainforests, and polar regions can all be experienced in one place. The animals are realistically displayed in their habitats, and interactive modules and stations make exploring this section a must for families with children.

Frauenkirche Dresden - Evangelical-Lutheran Church built in the years 1726–1743 in the baroque style. Destroyed during World War II in 1945, rebuilt in 1993–2005. „Brücken bauen - Versöhnung leben - Glauben stärken" - the motto of the rebuilt Frauenkirche Dresden.
It is the second largest sandstone building in the world. Total height 91.23 meters, length 50.02 meters, width 41.96 meters.
The Frauenkirche Dresden has an exhibition space in its basement. The exhibition consists of three parts:
- authentic exhibits (history of the destruction of the church)
- photographs and sketches (reconstruction process)
- computer (names of supporters)

The Städel Museum was founded in 1815 as Städelsches Kunstinstitut.
Städel offers a complete overview of 700 years of art - from the early 14th century to the present day. German Museum of Masterpieces of Science and Technology known as Deutsches Museum founded in 1903.
It collects collections from almost all fields of technology, industry and science. Its collections include: the first electric locomotive, a three-wheeled car from 1886 designed by Karl Benz and a Leibniz accounting machine.
The museum has gathered around 120,000 exhibits, of which around 28,000 are open to the public at exhibitions.
It covers an area of over 60,000 square meters.

History has a new home
The Sudeten German Museum is the central museum of the German-speaking population in the Bohemian lands. The permanent exhibition spans more than 1,100 years of the history of the region, its art and its culture. That history is related by authentic objects from the museum collections exhibited in a space measuring 1,200 square metres.
Under the overall concept of “homeland”, the Sudeten German Museum focuses on the life of the Germans in Bohemia, Moravia and Sudeten Silesia – what is today’s Czech Republic. The exhibition begins with the section on “Homeland!”, which describes the landscape and its inhabitants in the cultural, religious and economic context before 1945. Under the heading “The End of the Accepted Order”, it examines the political and social developments of the 19th century up to the catastrophe of World War II and the expulsions in the 20th century. “Homeland?” – now with a question mark – depicts the difficult new beginning and the integration of the Sudeten Germans in the West.

For centuries, the homeland of the Sudeten Germans in Bohemia, Moravia and Sudeten Silesia was shaped by the coexistence of three peoples – the Germans, the Czechs and the Jews. The Sudeten German Museum takes a look at this common homeland in all its facets, from which emerges the picture of a model cultural landscape of pan-European significance.

The Sudeten German Museum presents established facts in a lively and easy-to-understand way. Owing to its modern design, which incorporates the use of media, and its architecturally outstanding building, the museum leaves its mark far beyond the Bavarian state capital of Munich.

Stiftung Preußische Schlösser und Gärten Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG; Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg) began operating in 1995.
The SPSG deals with the most important testimonies of Brandenburg-Prussia's culture, architecture and art history from the 17th century to the 20th century.
SPSG manages 30 museum castles and other museums, 800 hectares of historic parks, 100,000 works of art, 150 monuments and 300 architectural objects.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum was opened in 2006.
The museum presents 130 years of history of the Mercedes-Benz brand and associated brands.
On an area of 16,500 square meters, more than 160 vehicles and nearly 1,400 other exhibits are on display.

The Pfahlbauten Unteruhldingen (Pile Dwellings Unteruhldingen) are Germany's oldest open-air archaeological museum. A journey through 10,000 years of history awaits you. After visiting the newly opened museum hall with its original finds, you'll enter the multimedia show ARCHAEORAMA, where you'll take a virtual dive into the pile dwellings in Lake Constance. You'll then be taken to the villages from the Stone and Bronze Ages, always with a magnificent lake panorama. Here, past periods of human history and different ways of life spanning three millennia come to life. The tour continues with the Stone Age Trail and Pile Dwelling Cinema, where experimental archaeologists introduce the house-building techniques of that time. At the end of the tour, you'll discover the first two pile dwellings from 1922, featuring a special exhibition on the museum's beginnings—or you can deepen your knowledge of the pile dwellers on the upper floor of the museum hall.

Acropolis Museum opened in 2009.
Exposition area of ​​14,000 square meters.
It is an archaeological museum dedicated to finds from the Athenian Acropolis.

The Acropolis of Athens - ancient upper city located on a rock.
The Acropolis contains temples such as the Parthenon, the Erechtheion and the Temple of Athena Nike, and the monumental ceremonial gate the Propylaea. All of the marble buildings mentioned date back to the classical Greek period of the 5th century BC.
Their current condition owes much to reconstructions carried out since the 19th century.
The Acropolis plateau covers an area of over 3 hectares.

The National Archaeological Museum was founded in 1829.
The entire collections are divided into:
- collection of prehistoric antiques (Neolithic, Cycladic and Mycenaean)
- collection of ancient Greek sculptures (7th century BC - 5th century AD)
- vase and minerals collection (11th century BC - Roman era)
- metallurgical works collection
- collection of Egyptian and Eastern Antiquities (5000 BC - Roman era)
The National Archaeological Museum has in its collection, among others, the golden Mask of Agamemnon and the bronze statue of Zeus or Poseidon.
The collection consists of over 11,000 exhibits.
The museum covers an area of 8,000 square meters.

The National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens (EMST) has been operating since 2000.
The EMST collection includes works by Greek and international artists such as Stephen Antonakos, Chryssa, Marina Abramović, Nam June Paik. It is painting, sculpture, graphics, photography. video, installations, industrial design, new media from the second half of the 20th century and modern times.

Tikal is a ruin of a Mayan city that functioned from the 4th century BC to the 10th century AD. The greatest development of the city of Tikal is in the years from about 200 to about 900.
The architecture of Tikal includes 6 main temples in the form of pyramids, the highest of which is 65 meters high, monumental royal palaces, smaller mansions, a number of administrative buildings, platforms, altars, lintels, stelae, burials.
Highlights of Tikal: Great Plaza, Central Acropolis, North Acropolis, South Acropolis, Plaza of the Seven Temples, Mundo Perdido, nine Twin-Pyramid Complexes.
The former city is located in Tikal National Park, which covers 575 square kilometers of jungle and thousands of ruined buildings.
Tikal National Park is home to the Stelae Museum and the Sylvannus G. Morley Museum.
