The building of the Borneo Cultures Museum (BCM) is the biggest development project in the history of the Sarawak Museum since it was established in 1891. The BCM, opened in 2022 is the first museum in Malaysia to be certified as a Green Building under the Green Building Index (GBI). The five-storey building consists of climate controlled permanent and temporary exhibitions spaces, Children's Gallery, function room, auditorium, restaurant, and a souvenir shop.
There is also an Arts and Crafts Gallery which includes activity labs and a dance studio. In the theme-based permanent exhibitions, the BCM offers immersive and interactive experiences for visitors using audio-visual technology and interactive displays. The usage of modern technology in the BCM enhances the artefacts display and supports the storyline of the exhibition.
The thematic galleries at the BCM are as follows:
At Level 2, the Children’s Gallery offers a distinct experience that is specifically targeted to primary school children. In the ‘Love Our Rivers’ gallery, children go on an adventure with the River Guardians to learn about the rivers of Sarawak and how to keep them clean.
At Level 3, in the ‘In Harmony with Nature’ gallery, visitors encounter the cultures of the people who live in the coastal, rainforest and highland regions of Sarawak. Visitors can listen to stories, see zoological specimens and immerse themselves in the rich biodiverse environments.
At Level 4, in the ‘Time Changes’ gallery, visitors travel through time to explore the development and evolution of human settlements in Sarawak since the Paleolithic period. This level features archaeological and historical artefacts, and covers the significant events that shaped the history of Sarawak.
At Level 5, the ‘Objects of Desire’ gallery showcases the beauty of the artefacts. The gallery features the best examples of material culture from the collections of the Sarawak Museum. This gallery allows visitors to explore the uniqueness and value of these objects to the local communities of Sarawak.

The museum is located in the former royal palace. The Louvre Museum was officially opened in 1793.
About 38,000 works of art were exhibited on the exhibition area of ​​over 60,000 square meters. The Louvre's full resources are 350,000 exhibits.

The National Palace Museum was originally created as the Palace Museum in the Forbidden City in 1925.
The permanent collection consists of nearly 700,000 exhibits of ancient Chinese artifacts and works of art collected by Chinese emperors. The museum has Chinese calligraphy, porcelain, bronze, paintings, jade. The museum collections present art from the Neolithic era to the present day.

The National Museum of Anthropology has been open since 1964.
Exposition area: 44,000 square meters.
In the museum you can see archaeological and ethnographic collections from 2500 BC to the present day.

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao opened in 1997 is a museum of modern and contemporary art.
The total area of ​​the museum building is 24,000 square meters. The exhibitions cover about 11,000 square meters.

The entire collection includes approximately 260,000 works of art.
The museum has a collection of European paintings, from the twelfth century to the mid-twentieth century, with distinctive paintings of impressionists and post-impressionists: Monet, Renoir, van Gogh, Cézanne, and Matisse. American painting is represented by: Wood, Hopper.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science was founded in 1909.
The museum complex consists of the main facility and the Burke Baker Planetarium, Cockrell Butterfly Center and Wortham Giant Screen Theater.
In the museum you can see dinosaurs and other exhibits from various fields of knowledge, e.g. geology, biology, geography.

The State Hermitage Museum has been open to the public since 1852.
The entire collection is more than 3 million artifacts, including 1 million numismatic items.
The State Hermitage Museum presents monuments of culture and art of ancient Egypt and Greece as well as gold of the Scythians. The Hermitage collection includes two paintings by Leonardo da Vinci and the largest collection of Rembrandt paintings outside the Netherlands. The decoration of the collection is the paintings of Impressionists and post-Impressionists. The Hermitage has in its resources a rich collection of Asian art; Central Asian art collection attracts special attention. An important part of the collection is Russian art covering the period from the 11th to the 19th century.

The National Archaeological Museum was founded in 1829.
The entire collections are divided into:
- collection of prehistoric antiques (Neolithic, Cycladic and Mycenaean)
- collection of ancient Greek sculptures (7th century BC - 5th century AD)
- vase and minerals collection (11th century BC - Roman era)
- metallurgical works collection
- collection of Egyptian and Eastern Antiquities (5000 BC - Roman era)
The National Archaeological Museum has in its collection, among others, the golden Mask of Agamemnon and the bronze statue of Zeus or Poseidon.
The collection consists of over 11,000 exhibits.
The museum covers an area of 8,000 square meters.

Galleria degli Uffizi was opened to the public in 1765.
Le Gallerie degli Uffizi consists of: Gli Uffizi, Corridoio Vasariano, Palazzo Pitti, Giardino di Boboli.
The gallery is divided into rooms with works of art representing, in chronological order, various schools and styles.
The pride of the gallery are paintings by Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, and Titian.

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) was opened to the public in 1914.
The ROM has over 13,000,000 exhibits in its collection. The leading the ROM collections include: minerals (including precious stones) and meteorites, dinosaurs, Indian history, works of art from China and Korea, ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, interiors from various historical periods, including in the art deco style.

Beijing Museum of Natural History founded in 1951.
With 24,000 square meters, the exhibition's total area is 8,000 square meters. The collection includes paleontological specimens, invertebrates, birds and mammals, in total over 200,000 specimens.

Shaanxi History Museum was opened to visitors in 1991.
The museum collection has 370,000 artifacts.
The exhibition area covers 11,000 square meters.
The most valuable in the museum's collection are bronze products, ceramics and wall paintings from the Tang dynasty tombs.

Victoria and Albert Museum was founded in 1852 as the South Kensington Museum. The permanent collection consists of over 2.3 million exhibits.
V&A Family: V&A South Kensington, V&A Museum of Childhood (transforming), V&A Dundee, V&A at Design Society (Shekou, China), V&A East (project).
The museum is divided into four sections - collections: 1) Asia; 2) furniture, textiles and fashion; 3) sculpture, metalwork, ceramics, glass; 4) word and image. The collection includes applied and decorative arts as well as design, as well as post-classical sculpture. The collections of the Italian Renaissance belong to the largest outside Italy. The Asian department covers art from South Asia, China, Japan, Korea and the Islamic world. East Asian collections draw attention with ceramics and metalwork.

Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF) consists of the de Young and the Legion of Honor. The collection includes about 150,000 exhibits. M. H. de Young Memorial Museum was opened in 1895, it collects and presents mainly American art from the 17th to the 20th century. At the California Palace of the Legion of Honor you can see European ancient art and works of European masters such as Rembrandt, Rubens, Renoir, Cézanne, and Picasso.

In March 2021, the Grand Palais closed its doors to enter a major renovation phase. This will last until the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games for the Nave and surrounding galleries, and until June 2025 for the rest of the building. 121 years after its creation, the Grand Palais is writing a new page in its history.

The National Gallery of Victoria was founded in 1861.
It consists of two sections: the NGV International art gallery and the NGV Australia art gallery.
At NGV International you can see the works of such masters as Rembrandt, Titian, and Manet.
Whereas NGV Australia presents the art of Aborigines and Australian painters representing different periods, from classic colonial painters, through Australian Impressionists to contemporary artists.

Shanghai Science and Technology Museum was opened in 2001.
The exhibition area covers 65,500 square meters.
Permanent exhibitions present, among others:
- Spectrum of Life: natural exhibits imitating the natural environment of Yunnan province and showing the diversity of flora,
- Earth exploration,
- Cradle of Design or Designers, visitors can use CAD/CAM to design and build small items,
- The information age,
- The world of robots,
- Space navigation.

Gyeongju National Museum founded in 1945.
It is in possession of monuments and artifacts from the time of the Silla kingdom.

Acropolis Museum opened in 2009.
Exposition area of ​​14,000 square meters.
It is an archaeological museum dedicated to finds from the Athenian Acropolis.

The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) was founded in 1869.
The museum's collection includes over 34 million specimens of minerals, rocks, meteorites, fossils, plants, animals, human bones and artifacts.

National Air and Space Museum part of the Smithsonian Institution, open since 1976. He makes public about 80% of his 50,000 exhibits. The most important of them are:

Forbidden City (Palace Museum of Beijing) established in 1925. It was built between 1406 and 1420. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, i.e. in the years 1420–1912 it was the Chinese imperial palace. The entire complex includes 980 buildings located on an area of ​​112 hectares.

Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum was first opened in 1926 as the Tokyo Prefectural Museum of Art. The museum mainly exhibits the work of leading Japanese and foreign artists at temporary exhibitions. Exhibitions cover a very wide spectrum from traditional Japanese exhibitions from the Edo period, calligraphy and wood engraving to Art Nouveau, paintings by Van Gogh, Gauguin, Klimt, Munch and new wave art.

The National Museum of Singapore opened in 1887.
The collections consist of artifacts related to the history of Singapore, such as the approximately 1,000-year-old Singapore Stone with inscriptions in Old Hawaiian or Sanskrit, and 14th century gold ornaments discovered at nearby Fort Canning Hill in 1928.

The National Museum of Korea was founded in 1909 as the Imperial Household Museum.
It has over 310,000 exhibits, on 307 227 square meters of exhibition space. One of the most important artifacts is the golden crown of Silla and the 10-story pagoda of the Gyeongcheons Temple.

The Tretyakov Gallery founded in 1856.
The Tretyakov Gallery collects Russian art from the 11th century to the present day.
The collection has over 200,000 exhibits.

Ashmolean Museum opened in 1683. The world's first university museum.
The museum's collection includes one of the most important collections of Pre-Raphaelite paintings, paintings by William Turner, John Constable, Claude Lorraine and Pablo Picasso. The archeology department boasts a collection of Greek and Minoan pottery (the largest outside Crete), artifacts from ancient Egypt and Sudan. An important place is occupied by the collections of majolica ceramics and English silverware.

Center Pompidou opened in 1977.
The Center Pompidou houses one of the world's most important collections of modern and contemporary art. There are also large temporary exhibition galleries and a library.

Opened in 1874, the Art Gallery of New South Wales presents Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, Australian, Asian, Pacific and European.

The collection includes over 41,000 works by more than 7,000 artists, including: James McNeill Whistler, Georgia O’Keeffe, Edward Hopper, Robert Rauschenberg, Nam June Paik, Jenny Holzer, David Hockney.

Royal Academy of Arts founded in 1768.
RA presents works of art from ancient sculptures to paintings by members such as Joshua Reynolds and John Constable to the work of contemporary artists. Every year in the summer a contemporary art exhibition is organized, which has an open formula for submitting applications.

Saatchi Gallery was founded in 1985.
It covers an area of ​​6,500 square meters.

The museum was founded in 2003 by merging two museums: Museum of the Chinese Revolution and National Museum of Chinese History.

The most important are "Simuwu Ding" from the Shang Dynasty, the square shaped Shang Dynasty bronze zun, jade burial suits sewn with gold thread from Han Dynasty and Song Dynasty ceramics. The museum has a unique numismatic collection.

Reina Sofía was opened in 1990.
It presents contemporary Spanish art in an international context from the end of the 19th century to the present day. Pablo Picasso's painting Guernica from 1937 is exhibited in Reina Sofía. Other artists whose artistic achievements are in the collection of Reina Sofía are, for example: Salvador Dali, Joan Miró, Juan Gris, Georges Braque, Francis Bacon, Alexander Calder, René Magritte, Robert Delaunay, Man Ray and Yves Klein.
The collection comprises over 20,000 works, five percent of which are on display.
The museum also houses an art library with over 100,000 books.

The Grand Palace was the official residence of the kings of Siam and later Thailand. Its construction began in 1782.
The Grand Palace is divided into several parts:
- Museum of the Emerald Buddha Temple, created in 1982, where you can see: Phra Thaen Manangsila Throne, a small mother-of-pearl sitting platform called Phra Thaen Song Sabai, stone Buddha images, white elephant bones, lapidarium,
- the Outer Court, with many public buildings,
- the Middle Court, including the Phra Maha Monthien Buildings, the Phra Maha Prasat Buildings and the Chakri Maha Prasat Buildings,
- the Inner Court,
- the Siwalai Gardens quarter.
The entire palace complex has a total area of 218,400 square meters.

The Museu Picasso opened in 1963.
The museum has over 4,000 works by the painter Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). The permanent exhibition features the artist's painting, drawing, engraving, and ceramics.
The Museu Picasso was the first museum in the world dedicated to the work of Pablo Picasso and the only one created during his lifetime.
The total area of the museum is over 12,000 square meters.

Iziko Museums of South Africa established in 1825.
Iziko Museums of South Africa is a combination of the following museums:

The Eiffel Tower built in two years by Gustave Eiffel for the World Exhibition in 1889.
It is a wrought iron truss tower.
The height of 330 meters. At the base, on a square plan with a side of 125 meters. The tallest building in the world from its inception to 1930.
On the third floor platform you can see a reconstruction of the wax museum type, showing Gustave Eiffel receiving Thomas Edison.

The Vasa Museum houses Vasa, the world's best-preserved ship from the 1600s with over 98 percent of its original parts preserved, and ornamented with hundreds of carved sculptures. The 69-meter-long warship sank on its maiden voyage in Stockholm in 1628. After a laborious salvage effort in 1961, Vasa broke the water's surface again after 333 years on the seabed. For more than half a century the ship has been slowly, carefully and painstakingly restored to a state approaching its original glory. Since 1990 Vasa is on display in the purpose-built museum.
There are eleven different exhibitions around the ship which tell about the life on board Vasa, the symbolism of its sculptures, the country of Sweden in the 1620s, the people who followed Vasa down into the deep, the salvaging in the 1960s and the efforts to preserve the ship for the future, and outside is the museum's 17th century garden.

Palazzo Ducale founded in 1340. From 1923 changed to a museum. Includes, among others, Museo dell'Opera, Doge's apartments, Institutional chambers.

The oldest and largest American museum. Founded in 1870.
The collections are divided into thematic sections covering the history of world art: painting, applied art, military, musical instruments, photography.
The collection of paintings includes works of the world's greatest artists. The collection's decoration is the canvas of Dutch master Rembrandt. Italian paintings are represented by paintings e.g. Botticelli and Rafael.
The museum has an excellent collection of 19th-century French painting e.g. Manet, Monet, Renoir, van Gogh, Cézanne.

The Philadelphia Art Museum (PhAM) was founded in 1876.
It has significant collections of European, American and Asian art. The PhAM includes, among others: the world's largest collection of works by Marcel Duchamp, an important collection of sculptures by Auguste Rodin, important paintings by Édouard Manet, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne and Vincent van Gogh, the richest collection of paintings in the USA by Thomas Eakins, a collection of Paul Strand's photographs, Shakers' crafts, numerous "period rooms" and architectural ensembles from around the world, e.g. from China, India, Japan, United Kingdom and France, a collection of weapons and combat gear second largest in the USA.
The entire collection of the PhAM includes over 240,000 exhibits.

The National Museum of Nature and Science opened in 1871. It has over 10,000 exhibits in its collection. The museum focuses on natural history and interactive scientific experience. The most famous exhibits are: the crafted faithful dog Hachiko, fragment of the Nantan meteorite that fell on China in the 16th century, a mummy from the Japanese Edo period (1603-1868), an original WWII fighter.

Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac founded in 2006.
The museum collects ethnographic objects, art, photographs, documents, musical instruments, textiles from Asia, Africa, the Americas and Oceania.
The entire collection includes over 1360,000 exhibits, of which 3,500 are exhibited.
The exhibitions cover 40,600 square meters.

Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) established 1991.
It collects contemporary art from Australia (has over 4,500 works by Australian artists) and around the world.

Musée d'Orsay opened to the public in 1986. In 2010, the Musée de l'Orangerie joined the Musée d'Orsay.
The collection mainly contains French art from 1848–1918: painting, sculpture, photography and furniture. Among the collections of paintings, the most popular are the works of impressionists and post-impressionists, e.g .:
- Paul Cézanne - Card Players (1893–1896), Apples and Oranges (1895–1900);
- Edgar Degas - Absinthe (1875–76), Blue Dancers (1890);
- Paul Gauguin - Self Portrait with Yellow Christ (1889–1890), Tahitian Women on the Beach (1891);
- Édouard Manet - Olimpia (1863), Breakfast on the grass (1863);
- Claude Monet - Saint-Lazare Train Station (1877), cycle Cathedral of Rouen (1892–93), Water Lilies (1916–19);

- Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec - Toilet (1896);

The National Museum of Natural History is part of the Smithsonian Institution. It was founded in 1910.
Currently, exhibition and public space covers 30,200 square meters.
It has more than 126 million specimens of minerals, rocks, meteorites, fossils, plants, animals, human bones and artifacts.

The origins of the Auckland War Memorial Museum date back to 1852.
Part of the museum is the War Memorial and the surrounding Court of Honor dedicated to those who died in World War I and II.
The museum has collected 1.5 million natural specimens from the fields of palaeontology, botany, entomology, geology, terrestrial vertebrates and marine biology.
The museum houses a large collections on the history of New Zealand, the Māori culture and the cultures of the Pacific region. The collections include three complete wooden buildings, including the Hotunui, a traditional Māori meeting house from 1878 from the Thames region, and the war canoe (waka) Te Toki a Tapiri from 1830.
The Museum maintains the legacy of Edmund Hillary, the first man to reach the world's highest peak, Mount Everest, with Sherpa Tenzing Norgay.
The area of the museum is 16,000 square meters.

The predecessor of the Nanjing Museum was the preparatory department of the National Central Museum, which was founded in 1933.
Nanjing Museum covers an area of ​​85,000 square meters. The museum has over 400,000 exhibits in its permanent collection. The most important exhibit of the collection is full-size armor made of small jade tiles connected with silver wire.

The collection includes over 80 million exhibits and is divided into:

Three Gorges Museum opened in 2005.
The museum covers an area of ​​about 42,500 square meters. The exhibition hall itself has an area of ​​about 23,200 square meters.
The main exhibitions are dedicated to:
- Glorious Three Gorges
- Ancient Ba-Yu - early history of Chongqing
- Chongqing: the City Road – 20th century history
In addition, the museum presents exhibitions: porcelain, calligraphy, painting, sculpture from the Han dynasty, coins.

Teatre-Museu Dalí, opened in 1974, is dedicated to its creator Salvador Dalí. In the hometown of the painter Figueres you can see the Teatre-Museu and Jewels. Nearby: Port Lligat - Salvador Dali House and in Pubol - Gala Dali Castle. The museums are run by Fundacio Dali.

The Musée des Arts Décoratifs (MAD) dates back to 1882.
It also includes the Musée Nissim de Camondo and the Ecole Camondo.
The collection includes original interior architecture, furniture, tapestries, wallpapers, ceramics and glass, as well as toys from the Middle Ages to the present day. It contains numerous works in the Art Nouveau and Art Déco styles. The collection is supplemented by rare examples of fashion, design and objects from the Middle East.
MAD owns over one million artifacts.

National museum (Národní muzeum) founded in 1818, located in several buildings in Prague and beyond.

Schönbrunn Palace was the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers. The palace was built in the 17th century, rebuilt in 1740–50 during the reign of Empress Maria Teresa in the Rococo style. The museum in the palace was opened to the public in 1919. There are 1441 chambers in the palace, of which 45 are open to the public. It covers an area of ​​about 186 hectares.

Apartheid Museum opened in 2001.
The museum illustrates the rise and fall of apartheid and the history of South Africa in the 20th century.
The area where the Pillars of the Constitution, Journeys and 21 exhibition halls are located covers an area of 7 hectares.
The exhibitions feature film materials, photographs and artifacts supplemented with texts, including those related to Nelson Mandela.

Shanghai Museum was founded in 1952.
The museum's collections contain over 1 million exhibits.
The museum has a representative collection of ancient Chinese art, which consists of: bronze, sculptures, ceramics, jades, paintings, calligraphy, seals, coins and a "transparent" bronze mirror from the Han Dynasty.

The Holmenkollen Ski Museum, situated beneath the iconic Holmenkollen Ski Jump in Oslo, is the world's oldest museum dedicated to skiing. Established in 1923, it showcases over 4,000 years of skiing history, including ancient skis and polar exploration artifacts.
The museum's exhibits include:
- Ancient Skis: Featuring some of the oldest known skis, including the Drevja ski, which is over 5,000 years old.
- Viking Age Artifacts: Showcasing rock carvings and skis from the Viking period, illustrating early skiing culture in Norway.
- Modern Ski Equipment: Displaying racing and cross-country skis, as well as snowboards, highlighting the evolution of skiing equipment.

The Holmenkollen Ski Museum in Oslo boasts a collection of approximately 4,000 exhibits. Among these, the museum displays around 2,500 pairs of skis, including those belonging to notable Norwegian skiers and members of the Royal Family.
The museum underwent significant renovations for its centenary in 2023, with architectural firm Snøhetta designing a new extension and outdoor entrance. The newly designed extension encompasses an area of 525 square meters.
Visitors can also enjoy panoramic views of Oslo from the observation deck atop the ski jump tower.

The Broad opened to the public in 2015.
The Broad collection includes contemporary art from the 1950s to the present day. The entire collection includes over 2,000 works, including by: Jeff Koons, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Ragnar Kjartansson, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Joseph Beuys, Jasper Johns, and Robert Rauschenberg. The Broad has the largest Cindy Sherman collection in the world.
The Broad building has an area of 11,150 square meters, of which 4,645 square meters is an exhibition space.

Museum of Fine Arts was founded in 1870.
It has over 450,000 works of art from various periods from antiquity to the present day. The collection includes, among others, ancient Egyptian and Greek sculptures, Dutch painting of the seventeenth century, paintings of French impressionists, American art of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, Japanese ceramics and woodcut.

The origins of the Moscow Kremlin Museums go back to the Kremlin Armory Museum founded in 1806.
The Moscow Kremlin Museums include, among others:

Museo Nacional del Prado was founded in 1819.
The collection includes works from the royal collection, collected from the 16th to the 20th century.
- Spanish painting - from Romanesque art to the 20th century, you can find works of artists such as: El Greco, Diego Velázquez, Francisco Goya, Pablo Picasso, the works of Velazquez (almost 50 works) and Goya (over 140 paintings) are most widely represented,
- Italian painting - from the 15th to the 18th century, the best collection of paintings from the Venetian school, including works of Titian, Veronese and Tintoretto,
- Flemish painting - from the 15th to the 17th century, presentation of the works of Rogier van der Weyden, Bosch,
- French painting - from the 16th to the early 19th century, e.g. paintings by Poussin and Lorrain,
- Greek sculpture - two original sculptures from the archaic period (including kuros from the 6th century BC), Roman copies of the works of Greek masters from the classical period (a miniature copy of Athena Partenos by Fidias, a copy of Athena Myron from the group Athena and Marsia,
- a collection of drawings from the 15th to the 19th century, the Spanish school looks best here (including Goya), but you can also find drawings by Michelangelo,
- graphics - a rich collection consists of Franco Goya's cycles.

Hunan Museum opened to the public in 1956.
The museum covers an area of ​​about 50,000 square meters.
The collection includes 180,000 objects, including the inscriptions from the tomb of Marquis Dai in Mawangdui from the Han dynasty and the bronze drum of the Fighting States.

The Rijksmuseum was founded in 1800 under the name Nationale Kunst-Gallerij.
The core of the collection is a collection of paintings that includes over 5,000 paintings representing Dutch (e.g. Rembrandt van Rijn paintings) and world paintings of the 15th-19th century. The collection is complemented by sculpture, graphics, applied art and handicrafts. The Rijksmuseum has an interesting collection of Asian art.

The Russian Museum was founded in 1895.

The National Museum of American History as part of the Smithsonian Institution was opened in 1964 as the Museum of History and Technology. The museum collects, preserves and exposes the US heritage in the aspect of social, political, cultural, scientific and military history. Among the items presented is the original banner with the stars - a flag that fluttered over Fort McHenry in the port of Baltimore during the maritime part of the Battle of Baltimore during the war in 1812.

The National Museum of History (MNH) was opened to the public in Castillo de Chapultepec in 1944.
The exhibitions show the history of Mexico, from the conquest of Spain, through the colonial era, the war of independence, to the revolution of 1910.

Queensland Art Gallery & Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) have been working together since 2006. In total, they cover an area of ​​nearly 30,000 square meters. They present contemporary art of Australia, Asia and the Pacific. Their collections include works by others: Pablo Picasso, Willem de Kooning, Nam June Paik, Cindy Sherman, and James Turrell. The collection of paintings stored at Belvedere was made publicly available in 1781. Currently, art collections are presented in Lower Belvedere, Upper Belvedere and Belvedere 21. The museum is dedicated to science, new technologies and the natural environment, and it houses exhibitions on the heritage of science, climate change, the human body and biometric data. The motto of the museum is: "It is forbidden: not to touch, feel or think".
It covers an area of over 42,000 square meters, of which 26,000 square meters are dedicated to exhibitions.

The National Folk Museum of Korea is a museum that represents daily life and culture of Korea and is visited by more than two million people every year. We provide educational and cultural opportunities to better understand and experience the traditional Korean lifestyle. Since its establishment in 1946, the National Museum of Anthropology has primarily investigated and researched Korean folk culture, while having has acquired, preserved, and exhibited Korean folk cultural artifacts. Over the years, we have held permanent and special exhibitions, published reports, while also having conducted lectures and other public education programs. Now, in keeping with the paradigm for museums in the 21st century that require them to be more responsive to the public and take an open and specialized approach, we are striving to expand our visitor base and reach out to visitors more effectively.

The National Museums Scotland (NMS) was formed in 1985, however, it originates from the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland founded in 1780.

The exhibitions display 8,000 exhibits, mainly Scottish archaeological monuments but also objects from around the world in the fields of geology, natural history, art as well as science and technology.

The National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) belongs to the Smithsonian Institution, opened to the public in 2016.
The museum building has an area of ​​33,000 square meters.
NMAAHC has in its collection over 40,000 exhibits, of which about 3,500 exhibits are exhibited. The museum presents African American history, art, music. One of the most pipular exhibits was the 1953 Jacqueline Bouvier wedding dress when she got married to John F. Kennedy, a trumpet that belonged to jazz musician Louis Armstrong, Muhammad Ali's boxing gloves.

Tokyo National Museum was founded in 1872.
The most important part of the collection is ancient and medieval Japanese art, monuments of the Silk Road and Greek-Buddhist art.
The collection consists of over 110,000 objects.

Serpentine founded in 1970 present the art of the 20th and 21st century world. In the summer, the Serpentine Pavilion program is run with outstanding architects.

The Buckingham Palace was originally built in 1703 for the Duke of Buckingham, later extended many times. Since 1837, it has been the official London residence of the British monarch.

The palace interiors have a 50-meter long Picture Gallery with paintings by Rembrandt, van Dyck, Rubens and Vermeer. Pergamonmuseum opened to the public in 1930.
It is part of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin belonging to Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz.
The exhibition is divided into Antiquities Collection, Museum of the Ancient Near East, Museum of Islamic Art. The Pergamonmuseum collects monuments of ancient architecture, e.g. the Pergamon Altar, the Ishtar Gate.

Chongqing Museum of Natural History founded in 1944, initially under the name Western Museum of China.
Currently it covers an area of ​​30 842 square meters, of which the exhibition occupies 16 252 square meters.
It has a collection of approximately 70,000 specimens including minerals, paleontology, plants, animals, and Stone Age exhibits. Among the most valuable exhibits are the skeletons of the dinosaur Omeisaurus Zigongensis and the stegosaurus Tuojiang. Chengdu Museum was founded in 1958.
The total exhibition area covers almost 20,000 square meters.
The entire collection includes nearly 200,000 exhibits and are representative of the Chengdu region from the Neolithic period to the Republic of China. Museum collections include bronze from the pre-Qin period, gold and silver; porcelain and silk of the Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties; graves and treasures of the Ming and Qing dynasties; Dojo paintings, shadows, dolls.

The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art opened in 2004.
The collection focuses on works created since 1980. The collection includes works by, among others: Gerhard Richter, James Turrell, Atsuko Tanaka, Anne Wilson, Leandro Erlich, Olafur Eliasson.

Van Gogh Museum opened to the public in 1973.
The museum stores 200 paintings by Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) from all periods of his work, 400 drawings and 700 letters. The collection enriches the paintings of other outstanding European painters from 1840-1920.

Zona Arqueológica de Teotihuacán includes the ancient Mesoamerican city with the Pyramid of the Sun, Pyramid of the Moon, Temple of Cetzalkokal. Open to public visiting since the 1920s. The area open to visitors is currently 264 hectares.

The Canadian Museum of History welcomes over 1.2 million visitors each year to its celebrated complex in the heart of the National Capital Region, making it one of the country's most-visited museum. With roots stretching back to 1856, it is one of Canada's oldest public institutions and a respected centre of museological excellence, sharing its expertise in history, archaeology, ethnology and cultural studies both within Canada and abroad. The National Collection consists of more than four million artifacts, specimens, works of art, written documents, and sound and visual recordings.
In addition to its ongoing exhibitions, including the spectacular Grand Hall, the First Peoples Hall, and the Canadian History Hall that provides a stunning showcase for more than 1,500 artifacts, including many of Canada's important historical treasures, each year the Museum presents a number of outstanding exhibitions focusing on Canadian and world history and civilizations. The Museum is also home to the Canadian Children's Museum.

Army Museum opened in 1905.
Permanent exhibition area: 9,800 square meters, temporary exhibition: 600 square meters. Number of exhibits around 500,000.
It is divided into two parts; the first presents weapons and armor created between the 13th and 17th centuries, the second presents weapons and vehicles from World War I and II.

The National Art Center, Tokyo (NACT) was opened in 2007.
NACT does not have its own collection, permanent exhibition. Curators of NACT organizes temporary exhibitions and sponsored presentations, sometimes with other organizations.
NACT's exhibition space is 14,000 square meters.

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (Bảo tàng Dân tộc học Việt Nam) opened to the public in 1997.
The 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups are featured in permanent exhibitions in the two-story Bronze Drum Building. The four-story Kite Building is an exhibition space for the cultures of peoples outside Vietnam, primarily from Southeast Asia. Architectural Garden outdoor exhibition on the area of 2 hectares presents ten works of folk architecture of ten ethnic groups in Vietnam.
