Since 2006, the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi (Foundation of the Palazzo Strozzi) has managed Palazzo Strozzi, a Renaissance private palace built between 1489 and 1538.
Palazzo Strozzi is the largest exhibition space for temporary exhibitions in Florence. Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi organizes several exhibitions every year dedicated to different aspects of art, creating a dialogue between the old and the new.

Forbidden City (Palace Museum of Beijing) established in 1925. It was built between 1406 and 1420. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, i.e. in the years 1420–1912 it was the Chinese imperial palace. The entire complex includes 980 buildings located on an area of ​​112 hectares.

Frauenkirche Dresden - Evangelical-Lutheran Church built in the years 1726–1743 in the baroque style. Destroyed during World War II in 1945, rebuilt in 1993–2005. „Brücken bauen - Versöhnung leben - Glauben stärken" - the motto of the rebuilt Frauenkirche Dresden.
It is the second largest sandstone building in the world. Total height 91.23 meters, length 50.02 meters, width 41.96 meters.
The Frauenkirche Dresden has an exhibition space in its basement. The exhibition consists of three parts:
- authentic exhibits (history of the destruction of the church)
- photographs and sketches (reconstruction process)
- computer (names of supporters)

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, opened in 1995, covers an area of 64 hectares.
There is a 30-hectare sculpture park with almost 300 cannons of Auguste Rodin, Edgar Degas, Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Alexander Calder, Louise Bourgeois, Richard Serra. Ai Weiwei, Beverly Pepper, Jaume Plensa, Magdalena Abakanowicz and others.

Galleria dell'Accademia founded in 1784.
It is in possession of sculptures by Michelangelo (including the monumental statue of "David"), works of Florentine painters from 1300-1600 and collections of historical musical instruments made, among others, by Stradivarius.

Gansu Provincial Museum was founded in 1939.
His collections include over 350,000 artifacts grouped in two main sections: history (Neolithic, Silk Road) and natural sciences. The most important monument of the museum is the Flying Horse of Gansu, a bronze sculpture from the Eastern Han dynasty, around the 2nd century AD.

The Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in short The Garage Museum was founded in 2008.
The museum focuses mainly on Russian modern and contemporary art from the 1950s to the present day, but is also interested in the most important phenomena of European and world art and culture of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The German Historical Museum (DHM) was founded in 1987 and opened its first exhibitions to the public in 1991.
DHM presents the history of Germany from the Middle Ages (when formally there was no country using the name Germany) to the present day in an international context.
The collection comprises about 1,000,000 exhibits. You can see, among others, the boat that escaped two GDR citizens or the prosthetic hand of a medieval knight.

German Museum of Masterpieces of Science and Technology known as Deutsches Museum founded in 1903.
It collects collections from almost all fields of technology, industry and science. Its collections include: the first electric locomotive, a three-wheeled car from 1886 designed by Karl Benz and a Leibniz accounting machine.
The museum has gathered around 120,000 exhibits, of which around 28,000 are open to the public at exhibitions.
It covers an area of over 60,000 square meters.

Giza pyramid complex
A set of historic buildings including the two largest pyramids built in ancient Egypt: the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Pyramid of Khafre and the smaller Pyramid of Menkaure, Great Sphinx and other accompanying objects. The complex covers an area of ​​16,203.36 hectares.

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is a large archaeological museum near the Giza Pyramids that presents the history and material culture of ancient Egypt. It is considered the largest museum in the world dedicated to a single civilization.

The Grand Palace was the official residence of the kings of Siam and later Thailand. Its construction began in 1782.
The Grand Palace is divided into several parts:
- Museum of the Emerald Buddha Temple, created in 1982, where you can see: Phra Thaen Manangsila Throne, a small mother-of-pearl sitting platform called Phra Thaen Song Sabai, stone Buddha images, white elephant bones, lapidarium,
- the Outer Court, with many public buildings,
- the Middle Court, including the Phra Maha Monthien Buildings, the Phra Maha Prasat Buildings and the Chakri Maha Prasat Buildings,
- the Inner Court,
- the Siwalai Gardens quarter.
The entire palace complex has a total area of 218,400 square meters.
Other museums in the Grand Palace are:

- Pavilion of Regalia, Royal Decorations and Coins,
- museum displaying old weapons.

In March 2021, the Grand Palais closed its doors to enter a major renovation phase. This will last until the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games for the Nave and surrounding galleries, and until June 2025 for the rest of the building. 121 years after its creation, the Grand Palais is writing a new page in its history.

The Great Wall of China - a system of fortifications in North-East China (south of the Mongolian steppe), the total length is over 20,000 km.
The fortifications were built from the 7th century BC to the 19th century AD.
The Great Wall of China museums are located in:
- Badaling, Yanqing District (within Beijing municipality), opened in 1994, covers an area of 3,200 square meters,
- Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province, built in 2001, covers an area of 12,312 square meters with an exhibition area of about 1,766 square meters, has more than 6,000 cultural monuments,

Guangdong Museum was founded in 1959.
Guangdong Museum collects:
1) Chinese art:
- Ceramics: A large collection of pottery from various dynasties, including porcelain from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties,
- Painting and calligraphy: Traditional Chinese paintings and calligraphy, both historical and contemporary,
2) Guangdong culture and history:
- Historical Artifacts: Everyday objects, tools and artifacts that document the history and culture of the Guangdong region,

Guangdong Museum has approximately 166,000 exhibits in its collection. Of this number, approximately 13,000 exhibits are regularly exhibited in various museum exhibitions, both permanent and temporary.
Guangdong Museum covers an area of approximately 67,000 square meters. The exhibition area of Guangdong Museum is approximately 21,000 square meters.

The Guangdong Museum of Revolutionary History was founded in 1959.
The museum is located in the building of the former Guangdong Advisory Bureau in the Guangzhou Uprising Martyrs Cemetery of Guangdong Province.
The exhibitions show the struggle of the local people for national independence from the Opium War in 1840 to the national liberation in 1949, including the Civil Revolutionary War (1927-1937, 1946-1949).
The museum covers an area of 2000 square meters. At permanent exhibitions, it presents 13,000 exhibits and 13,000 archival photos.

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao opened in 1997 is a museum of modern and contemporary art.
The total area of ​​the museum building is 24,000 square meters. The exhibitions cover about 11,000 square meters.

The Guinness Storehouse opened to the public on December 2, 2000. The building it is located in dates back to 1904 and was originally used as a fermentation warehouse at the Guinness brewery.
The Guinness Storehouse is an interactive museum dedicated to the history and heritage of the Guinness brand. The museum creates a fascinating story about the over 250-year-old tradition of one of the most recognizable beers in the world. Its collection includes a number of exhibits that show the beer brewing process, the history of the brewery and the brand's influence on culture and advertising. The highlights of the exhibition include:
1. Guinness History: Exhibits illustrating the brewery's origins from its founding by Arthur Guinness in 1759, including the original 9,000-year lease.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum opened in 1955.
The museum is dedicated to documenting the atomic bombing of Hiroshima at the end of World War II. In the museum, you can follow the course of the war and learn about the international situation at that time, the consequence of which was the decision to drop the bomb. Museum exhibitions show Hiroshima before and after the bombing, things that belonged to the victims of the bombing. The original exhibits are accompanied by numerous photographs and projection maps. The exhibitions show the effects of the explosion itself and the radiation that followed it, as well as the effects of aftershocks. The exhibition ends with information about the nuclear age and efforts to achieve international peace.

The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden opened in 1974 as a museum of contemporary and modern art. Managed by the Smithsonian.
Its collections include works by artists such as: Auguste Rodin, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Marcel Duchamp, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Francis Bacon, Willem de Kooning, Edward Hopper, Alexander Calder, Alberto Giacometti, Fernando Botero.
The collection volume is over 11,500 art pieces.
The exhibition area is over 18,301 square meters.

The Holmenkollen Ski Museum, situated beneath the iconic Holmenkollen Ski Jump in Oslo, is the world's oldest museum dedicated to skiing. Established in 1923, it showcases over 4,000 years of skiing history, including ancient skis and polar exploration artifacts.
The museum's exhibits include:
- Ancient Skis: Featuring some of the oldest known skis, including the Drevja ski, which is over 5,000 years old.
- Viking Age Artifacts: Showcasing rock carvings and skis from the Viking period, illustrating early skiing culture in Norway.
- Modern Ski Equipment: Displaying racing and cross-country skis, as well as snowboards, highlighting the evolution of skiing equipment.
- Polar Exploration Gear: Exhibiting equipment used by renowned explorers like Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen, offering insights into historic polar expeditions.

The Holmenkollen Ski Museum in Oslo boasts a collection of approximately 4,000 exhibits. Among these, the museum displays around 2,500 pairs of skis, including those belonging to notable Norwegian skiers and members of the Royal Family.
The museum underwent significant renovations for its centenary in 2023, with architectural firm Snøhetta designing a new extension and outdoor entrance. The newly designed extension encompasses an area of 525 square meters.
Visitors can also enjoy panoramic views of Oslo from the observation deck atop the ski jump tower.

It is dedicated to history, art and culture. It has 5 permanent exhibitions and 6 thematic temporary exhibitions.

Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA) was founded in 1962.
The entire HKMoA collection is divided into:
- Chinese Antiquities, among others, Neolithic to 20th century ceramics, bronzes, jade carvings, lacquerware, enamelware, bamboo carvings
- Modern and Hong Kong Art, covers over 100 years of painting, calligraphy, traditional ink painting
- China Trade Art (18th, 19th century)
- Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, consisting of paintings from Guangdong (among others Zhang Mu, Su Renshan), calligraphy from Guangdong (among others Chen Xianzhang, He Shaoji), Lingnan school of painting (among others Gao Jianfu, Chen Shuren), contemporary Chinese painting (among others Huang Binhong, Wu Guanzhong).
The HKMoA collection includes over 17,000 items.

The House of Terror Museum was opened in 2002.
The House of Terror Museum is a memorial to the victims of the fascist and communist regimes in 20th-century Hungary.
In the museum, you can see, among other things, the cells in which ÁVH (Államvédelmi Hatóság - communist secret police 1945–1956) held prisoners and the T-54 tank.

Haus der Geschichte, Bonn (House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany) together with the Zeitgeschichtliches Forum, Leipzig and Tränenpalast, Berlin and the Museum in der Kulturbrauerei, Berlin are part of the Haus der Geschichte Foundation, Bonn.
House of the History, Bonn opened to the public in 1994.
It presents the history of Germany in international terms from 1945 to the present.

The collection consists of over 230,000 objects.

The Humboldt Forum, open to the public in 2021, is located in the Berlin Palace on the Museum Island.
The Humboldt Forum houses the non-European collections of Berlin's state museums. The Humboldt Forum consists of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz with the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst der Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin, the Stadtmuseum Berlin together with Kulturprojekte Berlin, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Stiftung Humboldt Forum im Berliner Schloss.

Hunan Museum opened to the public in 1956.

Ultimately, our work remains a steadfast beacon for those who wish to cherish and understand the profound, enduring spirit of Hungarian culture.

A monographic (one man) museum dedicated to a single artist, namely Nelson Maravalhas Junior, located in a rural area of Brazil’s capital. The museum has 4 galleries distributed in a two storied building of 561m2, plus an observatory on its roof top of about 350m2, and an amphitheatre with a 100 seats capacity. It has also a small library. There is an elevator from the first to the second floor, and two adapted bathrooms besides two rooms to contain its collection. It has also a cafeteria with a view to the city and to the sunset.
The museum is the house of the whole visual half century production of Maravalhas, constituted of oil paintings, objects, sculptures and drawings. Each of these lines of works is on display during one year.
The museum is a place to receive public schools, university classes, private workshops of a varied kinds, patients from hospitals, and also of gathering people, art lovers, musicians, literates, amateur astronomers among others tribes.

The Imperial Museum (Museu Imperial) is located in the Imperial Palace, the former summer residence of Emperor Dom Pedro II of Brazil. The palace was built between 1845 and 1862 in the neoclassical style with elements of Renaissance architecture. After the overthrow of the monarchy in 1889, the palace became state property. In 1940, the palace was transformed into a museum. The official opening of the Imperial Museum took place in 1943.
The palace measures approximately 60 meters by 40 meters. The palace and its surrounding extensive gardens designed in a style inspired by European palatial residences cover an area of approximately 18.4 hectares.
The main rooms of the palace are:

The IWM collections mainly include:
- military vehicles (e.g. one of the first "Devil" a Mark V tanks that were used at the end of World War I),
- airplanes (e.g. the Supermarine Spitfire that flew in the Battle of Britain and the Heinkel He 162 jet fighter),
- missiles (e.g. a V-1 flying bomb, a V-2 rocket and Polaris missiles),
- documents, photos, films, videos, oral history recordings,
- a large collection of works of art.
IWM has gathered 10,700,000 individual exhibits or entire collections of exhibits from the times of the World War I until today.

The Indian Museum founded in 1814.
Its collections include geology, botany, zoology, anthropology, archeology (including ancient Egypt) and Indian art (such as Mughal paintings).
There are over 1,000,000 exhibits in total.

Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS) or National Museum of Mankind, an autonomous organisation of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, began functioning in March 1977 to present the living vulture of the diverse culture of communities across India. It has a regional Centre in Southern India at Mysore that started functioning in October 2001 from a heritage building 'Wellington House' allotted by the Government of Karnataka.
The mandate of the Museum includes the presentation of an integrated story of the bio-cultural evolution of humankind through outdoor and indoor exhibitions by highlighting the richness and diversity of cultural patterns of India and its underlying unity; to act as a Centre of research and training in museology and generate a new museum movement in India and to present and preserve a variety of cultural life.
IGRMS is also working for national integration, and promoting research & training and inter-organizational networking for salvage and revitalisation of vanishing, but valuable cultural traditions. The innovative aspects of the organization are its open-air and indoor exhibitions, built with the active involvement of traditional artisans and experts drawn from different community groups, and the education, outreach & salvage activities in different parts of the country.
Through its exhibitions, education programmes and salvage activities, IGRMS demonstrates the aesthetic qualities of India's traditional lifestyles, and the continued relevance of local traditional knowledge and mores of people to the modern society and cautions the people against unprecedented destruction of ecology and environment, local values and customs.
The programmes and activities of the organisation are carried out under three sub-schemes namely:
1. Infrastructure Development : (Development of Museum Complex),
2. Education and Outreach Programme,
3. Operation Salvage.

The Inner Mongolia Museum opened in 1957.
The museum has an extensive collection of fossils, dinosaur remains, feathered dinosaurs and a complete woolly rhinoceros skeleton. One of the exhibitions dedicated to the history and traditions of the nomadic Mongols is devoted to the life of Genghis Khan, who in the 13th century united different Mongol tribes and founded one of the largest land empires. In the museum, you can also see the golden crown in the form of an eagle from the Warring States Period (475-221 BC).
The collection includes over 150,000 exhibits.
The museum covers an area of more than 50,000 square meters.

Institut Valenciá D'Art Modern (IVAM; Valencian Institute of Modern Art) opened in 1989.
The IVAM collection includes over 11,300 works (5,000 of which are photographs) by modern and contemporary artists, mainly from Valencia, Spain, Europe, Latin America and North America.
The collections are divided thematically:
- Ignacio Pinazo (1849-1916) and Julio González (1876-1942) - the beginnings of modernity,

The Jakarta History Museum (Museum Sejarah Jakarta or Museum Fatahillah or Batavia Museum) was inaugurated in 1974.
The museum presents the history of the development of the city of Jakarta from prehistory to the present day. Its collections include, for example, objects related to the history of the Dutch East-India Company (VOC), Japanese ceramics from the 17th century, Batavia furniture, 17th-19th century, which is a combination of European, Chinese, Indian and Indonesian styles.
The collection includes nearly 25,000 artifacts.

The Jewish Museum Berlin was opened in 2001.
It is the largest Jewish museum in Europe.
The museum presents the history of Jews in Germany from the Middle Ages to the present day from a Jewish point of view.
The permanent exhibition "Jewish life in Germany: the past and the present", opened in 2020, covering an area of over 3,500 square meters, has more than 1,000 objects, of which over 70% comes from the museum's own collection.
The museum's collection is divided into four areas: ceremonial and applied arts, fine arts, photography and everyday culture.

The Jewish Museum of the City of Vienna is a place of encounter, interaction and understanding, which seeks to raise awareness of Jewish history, religion, and culture.

The first Jewish museum in the world was founded in Vienna in 1895, sponsored by a group of Viennese Jewish citizens. The collection focused on the culture and history of the Jews in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, particularly Vienna and Galicia.

In the interwar years Zionist objects were added, reflecting the new political discussion at that time.

The museum was closed by the Nazis in 1938 directly after the Anschluss. In the last year of its existence the inventory listed 6,474 objects. In 1939 the museum collection was transferred to the Museum of Ethnology and other institutions in Vienna. The Anthropology Department of the Natural History Museum in Vienna used some of the items for its anti-Semitic propaganda exhibition “The physical and psychological appearance of the Jews".

Most of the objects were returned to the IKG Vienna in the early 1950s, although some were not restituted until the 1990s. Over half of the objects have disappeared; it is practically impossible to discover whether they were stolen or deliberately destroyed. Objects once listed in the Jewish Museum collection turn up occasionally on the art and antiques market. The surviving objects – on permanent loan from the IKG to the present-day Jewish Museum Vienna – form a unique component of the current collection.

Jondishapour Museum of Trade History was established in 2018 in Shiraz, Iran with the permission of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and Handicrafts. The most important of establishing the museum was Owner extreme passion to Iran and preservation of ancient history of this great country through presenting museum items. Since one of the most important tasks of museum in general is to display and preserve work of collections and offering related specialized trainings, the owner and founder of Jondishapour Museum decided to employ experts in the field of exhibition as well as restoration of historical monuments so that he could provide a secure reservoir with high-tech equipment and establish the first private restoration workshop with modern materials and equipment in Shiraz This Museum was honored as the best museum in Iran under the category of conservation & preservation indexes by the ICOM- Iran. Jondishapour Museum of the Trade History houses a treasure trove of valuable historical artifacts, inchuding metals. Potteries, ghassware, manuscripts, stamps, coins, antiques, ets.

Kazan Kremlin erected by the Tsar of Russia Ivan Grozny in the 16th century on the ruins of the former castle of the Kazan khans built from the 10th century.

Has a collection of military items and natural history. The painting collection includes paintings by Rembrandt, Monet, Renoir, van Gogh, and Dalí.

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) opened to the public in 2018.
Ithra is Saudi Aramco's flagship corporate social responsibility initiative and the largest cultural contribution in Saudi Arabia. Ithra includes a library, knowledge tower, idea lab, cinema, theater, Great Hall, energy exhibit, museum and children's museum.
The museum part includes four galleries:

Ithra's collections include, among others, a folio from the Blue Quran and fragments from the Holy Quran from around 750 AD.

Kinkaku-ji (Gold Pavilion) is part of the Zen Buddhist complex of temples founded at least in the 14th century.
There is a Jotenkaku Museum in the Shokoku-ji main temple area of the complex. The Jotenkaku Museum houses, among others, 5 National Treasures of Japan. The museum exhibits works by painters such as Tensho Shubun, Sesshu Toyo, Josetsu and Ito Jakuchu.
The temple complex also includes the Ginkaku-ji (Silver Pavilion).

Established through the initiative of avid art collector Kiran Nadar, the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) opened to the public in January 2010 as India’s first private museum dedicated to modern and contemporary art from the subcontinent. KNMA is a non-commercial, not-for-profit institution supported by the Shiv Nadar Foundation. It seeks to foster a dynamic relationship between art and culture through its exhibitions, publications, educational initiatives, and public programs. The museum’s ever-expanding collection of over 15,000 artworks from South Asia features some of the most significant modernist and contemporary works. KNMA is set to evolve into a landmark cultural destination with a new location, an expansive 100,000-square-meter (over 1 million square feet) architectural marvel, near the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. It will feature multiple exhibition spaces, a performance arts centre, an education block, an archive centre, a library, restaurants, and a members’ room. Strengthening its role as a cultural epicenter, this expansion will further KNMA’s mission to be a vibrant hub for visual and performing arts, fostering artistic innovation and cultural dialogue.

The Kunsthaus Zürich traces its origins back to 1787, opened in 1910.
The Kunsthaus Zürich collection includes works of art from the 13th century to the present day. The collection includes works by, among others, Claude Monet, Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso and the Swiss Ferdinand Hodler, Alberto Giacometti and the Dada movement.
Kunsthaus Zürich has 11,500 square meters of exhibition space.

Kunsthistorisches Museum (KHM) opened in 1891.
Most of the collections are the collections of the imperial Habsburg family. The collections are divided into a gallery of paintings, art of ancient Egypt, Antikensammlung, Kunstkammer, Münzkabinett, and a library. The Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg has faced notable controversies, primarily stemming from its unique reliance on Volkswagen corporate funding. The most significant friction has involved curatorial independence clashing with big-business interests, alongside ethical protests regarding animal welfare in contemporary art installations.

The Kyiv Pechersk Lavra one of the oldest Orthodox monasteries in Eastern Europe.
The first monastery was built in a natural cave near the Dnieper River in 1051. The first above-ground church, the Church of the Dormition, was constructed in the mid-11th century. Byzantine architects supervised its design, blending local Slavic styles with Byzantine influences.
In the 17th century, the monastery underwent significant transformation during the reign of the Cossack Hetmanate. Lavish Baroque architecture replaced many medieval structures.
The complex has over 100 architectural structures, including Orthodox churches, chapels, bell towers and caves. The main ones include:

The Kyiv Pechersk Lavra occupies a vast area of approximately 28 hectares.

Kyoto National Museum (KNM) opened in 1897. It has been using its current name since 1952. KNM focuses on pre-modern Japanese and Asian arts and crafts. Kyoto was the cultural and political center of Japan from the beginning of the Heian period in 794 to the end of the Edo period in 1868. KNM primarily collects cultural properties related to this "capital of a thousand years", Kyoto.
Collections that can be divided into several main categories:
- traditional Japanese paintings, including hanging scrolls, screens, paintings on paper and silk from various historical periods,
- Japanese calligraphy, including Buddhist texts, poetry and historical documents,
- Buddhist sculpture, which is one of the key elements of Japanese art, there are both small and monumental sculptures made of wood, bronze and other materials,
- decorative arts include ceramics, lacquerware, metalwork, textiles, and bamboo products, examples include everyday objects as well as ceremonial artifacts,
- applied art includes objects such as swords, armor, theatrical masks, tea ceremony vessels, and various artifacts related to everyday life in Japan,
- archaeological relics,
- photographic archive containing over 200,000 photographic negatives and color slides.
The museum contains over 12,000 works, half of which are displayed in exhibitions.
KNM, including the gardens, covers an area of approximately 50,000 square meters. The exhibition area is approximately 7,000 square meters.

La Plata Museum (Museo de La Plata) opened to the public in 1888.
The museum is divided into five sections: anthropological, botanical, geological, palaeontological and zoological, which at permanent exhibitions form a single whole depicting the evolution of nature, from the creation of the universe and our planet to the origin of man and its culture.
La Plata Museum has, among other things, a collection of large mammal fossils from the third and fourth period of the Cenozoic era, pre-Columbian ceramics, objects from the excavations in the Aksha complex (Egypt, near the 1st cataract, 13th century BC).
All collections amount to nearly 4 million objects.

La Venaria Reale (950,000 square meters of property) includes Reggia di Venaria Reale (Palace, 80,000 square meters), Gardens, Castello de La Mandria (Castle) and the Park of La Mandria.
The main stage of the construction of the baroque palace lasted from 1658 to 1675 during the reign of Carlo Emanuele II of Savoy.
Particular attention should be paid to: Galleria Grande, chapel, Juvarra stables, Reggia di Diana.

The origins of the Lahore Museum date back to 1865.
The Lahore Museum has in its collections:
- a collection of Gandhara sculptures (e.g. Posting Buddha)
- archaeological monuments from the Bronze Age (Indus Valley Civilization)
- a collection of Hellenistic and Mughal coins (38,000)
- miniature paintings

Galleria degli Uffizi was opened to the public in 1765.
Le Gallerie degli Uffizi consists of: Gli Uffizi, Corridoio Vasariano, Palazzo Pitti, Giardino di Boboli.
The gallery is divided into rooms with works of art representing, in chronological order, various schools and styles.
The pride of the gallery are paintings by Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, and Titian.

Leeum Samsung Museum of Art opened in 2004.
Leeum is divided into:
- Museum 1 - traditional Korean art - ceramics, including porcelain and stoneware, landscapes and folk paintings, manuscripts, swords, jewelry. Museum 1 covers an area of 2,300 square meters and a total area of 9,800 square meters.
- Museum 2 - contemporary Korean and international art - works e.g. Salvador Dalí, Joseph Beuys, Jesús Rafael Soto, Andy Warhol, Mark Rothko, Isamu Noguchi, Yves Klein, Jeans Arp, Bae Young-whan, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Frank Gehry, Koo Bon-woong. Museum 2 covers an area of 1,800 square meters and a total area of 5,200 square meters.

Liaoning Provincial Museum (辽宁省博物馆) was established in 1949 as the Northeast Museum.
The museum presents, among others:

The Lippisches Landesmuseum, located in the heart of Detmold, houses extensive collections in the fields of art, culture, and natural history. Louisiana Museum of Modern Art opened in 1958.
Louisiana has been collecting international art from 1945 to the present. It is mainly painting and sculpture (sculpture garden), but also design and photography. Louvre-Lens opened in 2012.
It is a satellite of Louvre, it has no collections of its own. It presents objects from the Louvre collection on loan in the medium to long term. The objects on loan represent all the Louvre collections and are renewed regularly. Louvre-Lens organizes temporary exhibitions of national or international importance.
Louvre-Lens has three exhibition spaces: Grande Galerie, Glass Pavilion and the Temporary Exhibition Gallery.

The museum presents 130 years of history of the Mercedes-Benz brand and associated brands.
On an area of 16,500 square meters, more than 160 vehicles and nearly 1,400 other exhibits are on display.

Mevlana Museum is the mausoleum of Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, a Persian Sufi mystic also known as Mevlâna; original lodge of Mevlevi whirling dervishes. The museum was opened in 1927.

The Middelheim Museum (Middelheimmuseum) was opened in 1951 as the open-air sculpture museum. Then, for the needs of the museum, buildings were built successively: the Braem Pavilion, depot in Middelheim-Hoog, and the Het Huis pavilion (The house). The Middelheim museum has a branch called Art in the City active in all districts of Antwerp.
The collection consists of about 400 works of art. including works by artists such as Auguste Rodin, Constantin Meunier, Émile-Antoine Bourdelle, Aristide Maillol, Arturo Martini, Hans Arp, Ossip Zadkine, Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, Alexander Calder.
The Middelheim Museum covers an area of 27 hectares.

The Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution (Chinese Military Museum) opened to the public in 1960.
The museum collects, among other things, equipment from the Chinese space program, such as satellites and a two-seater orbital capsule, jet fighters, rockets, rocket launchers, cruise missiles, artillery, fleets, tanks, armored personnel carriers, anti-aircraft weapons, small arms, ammunition, military uniforms, flags , medals, badges, seals, coins, documents.
Among the collected objects you can see: Qin Terracotta Warriors, cars of Zhu De and Mao Zedong, Chinese first atomic bomb, A Dongfeng 2 (CSS-1) medium-range balltistic missile.
The collected collections span 5,000 years of Chinese history.
The museum has over 180,000 exhibits.

The Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) was founded in 1883.
More than 90,000 works of art represent 20,000 years of world history.
Mia's collection includes art from the Americas, Asia (ceramics, bronzes, jade), Africa and Oceania. Painting (paintings by e.g. El Greco, Rembrandt, Henri Matisse, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin), sculpture, graphics, drawing, decorative art, contemporary art, photography and new media.
About 5 percent of the total collection is on permanent exhibitions.
Mia is the owner of Purcell-Cutts House.

The Mishkan Museum of Art Ein Harod was founded in 1937.
The museum has collections of Jewish art, Israeli art and Judaica.
Jewish art includes painting, sculpture, graphics and photography created in the second half of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century. These are works by, among others, Jozef Israëls, Leopold Horowitz, Mauricio Gottlieb, Shmuel Hirschenberg, Isidor Kaufmann, Max Liebermann, Yitzhak Levitan, Moïse Kisling.
The museum collection also includes works by contemporary Israeli artists who have been working since the beginning of the 20th century.
The Judaica collection includes religious utensils from the 18th century to the present day, from Jewish communities around the world.
The museum has collected over 16,000 works.

Mont Saint-Michel rocky tidal island with church-abbey and "Merveille" (a monastery built between 1211-1228 in the Gothic style). The origins of the monastery date back to the 8th century. The entire medieval building is surrounded by fortifications from the 13th and 15th centuries.

The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) founded in 1860.
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts has five pavilions that showcase archeology and ancient art, the international art collection, Quebec and Canadian art, modern and contemporary art, decorative arts and design. The international art collection includes works by, among others, Rembrandt, Dürer, El Greco, Goya, Delacroix, Cézanne, Matisse, Miró, Monet, Picasso, Renoir, Rodin, Dalí, Moore. The collection also includes: Coptic fabrics, English porcelain, Japanese incense boxes and stained glass.
The entire collection includes over 43,000 exhibits.
The total area is 53,095 square meters, of which the exhibition area is 13,000 square meters.

Mori Art Museum founded in 2003.
MAM does not have a permanent exhibition. Organizes temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists, mainly Asian.

The origins of the Moscow Kremlin Museums go back to the Kremlin Armory Museum founded in 1806.
The Moscow Kremlin Museums include, among others:
- Kremlin armory,
- Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God,
- Cathedral of the Archangel,
- Cathedral of the Annunciation.

The Mucem, Museum of the Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean was opened in 2013.
The total area is 45,000 square meters, of which the exhibition area is 4,900 square meters.
The museum has collected over a million objects and documents in its collections.
The Mucem presents exhibitions in the field of anthropology, archeology, history and art.

The Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow (MAMM) began in 1996 as the Moscow House of Photography.
MAMM is a state institution that specializes in contemporary art (graphics, drawings and posters) and new media, including photography, video art, and other multimedia forms. Its collection includes works by artists such as Alexander Rodchenko. The total number of exhibits is approximately 90,000.
MAMM covers an area of approximately 9,000 square meters, of which approximately 3,000 square meters are devoted to exhibitions.

Munchmuseet (MUNCH) opened in 1963.
MUNCH is devoted to the life and work of the Norwegian artist Edvard Munch (1863–1944).
MUNCH has nearly 1,200 paintings in its collection, which is more than half of the artist's entire painting output. MUNCH is in possession of the entire graphic heritage, in the number of 18,322 graphics with 842 different motifs. The Collection is completed by 7,050 drawings and sketches and 14 sculptures. It is one of the world's largest single artist collections. In addition, the collection includes original Munch photographs, printing plates and lithographic stones, handwritten texts and letters, as well as personal items.
In total, the collection includes over 42,000 museum objects.

A benchmark institution for modern and contemporary art

This is one of Europe’s greatest art museums. Located on Chaillot Hill in a building whose architecture is emblematic of the Art Deco period, the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris is ideally suited to close-up study of the works on display. Its exhibitions and collections, which contain over 15,000 works in all, cover a period stretching from 1900 to the present day. The Musée d’Art Moderne was designed for the Paris International Exhibition in 1937 and is housed in the Tokyo Palace’s east wing.
Officially inaugurated in July 1961, the origins of its collection date back to the early years of the 20th century, the result of a long series of initiatives taken by the City of Paris and such acts of generosity as Doctor Girardin’s bequest in 1953, which was the real deciding factor behind the decision to open the Museum, and the historic donations by Mathilde Amos in 1955 and Germaine Henry–Robert Thomas in 1976.
Since the end of the Second World War, the Museum has acted as a trendsetter on behalf of a great many movements and artists: its programming is distinguished by its dynamism, originality and scientific rigour. Curiosity and the eye’s mobility ensure that the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris remains an institution sensitive to the evolution of society, its concerns and its crises.


Major artists in the history of art

The MAM’s collections contain a total of 15,256 works by 2,322 artists and present the main artistic trends from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day, illustrated by major artists in the history of art, including Picasso, Dufy, Modigliani, Derain, Picabia, Robert and Sonia Delaunay, Suzanne Valadon, Christian Boltanski, Annette Messager, Philippe Parreno, Peter Doig, Elaine Sturtevant, Nina Childress, Danh Vo, Sheila Hicks and Judit Reigl. The Museum also possesses a number of rare and truly remarkable in situ works, including the first two versions of Matisse’s La Danse (The Dance), created in 1932 and 1931-1933, and Raoul Dufy’s La Fée électricité (The Electricity Fairy), a monumental work covering 600 square metres!
Marked by major monographic exhibitions devoted to such artists as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Sonia Delaunay, Andy Warhol, Bernard Buffet, Sarah Moon, Victor Brauner and Hans Hartung, the Museum’s programming is guided by the need to create a balance between exhibitions sure to be a success with the public, historical retrospectives focusing on internationally acclaimed artists, and exhibitions devoted to artists and artistic trends still little known in France.
The institution also provides unexpected reinterpretations of art history, taking an innovative and very well documented approach, with such exhibitions as “Deadline” (2009), “L’Art en guerre” (Art at War – 2012), and “outsiders” projects highlighting such figures as Robert Crumb, Carol Rama, Henry Darger and Paula Modersohn-Becker, and the aesthetic ties and bonds of friendship between three artists in “Derain, Balthus and Giacometti” (2018), and the married couple Anni and Josef Albers. By taking an unconventional but critical look at contemporary visual creation in the 20th and 21st centuries, the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris has confirmed its role as a “trailblazer”.

Musée d'Orsay opened to the public in 1986. In 2010, the Musée de l'Orangerie joined the Musée d'Orsay.
The collection mainly contains French art from 1848–1918: painting, sculpture, photography and furniture. Among the collections of paintings, the most popular are the works of impressionists and post-impressionists, e.g .:

- Edgar Degas - Absinthe (1875–76), Blue Dancers (1890);

- Vincent van Gogh - Portrait of Dr. Gachet (1890).

Musée de l'Orangerie opened in 1927. In 2010, it joined the Musée d'Orsay.
Musée de l'Orangerie exhibits Claude Monet's Water Lilies cycle consisting of 8 panels, each 2 meters high and 91 meters long, arranged in 2 oval galleries. In the Musée de l'Orangerie you can also see paintings by other Impressionists and Post-impressionists, such as Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
Area of 6,300 square meters.

The Musée des Arts Décoratifs (MAD) dates back to 1882.
It also includes the Musée Nissim de Camondo and the Ecole Camondo.
The collection includes original interior architecture, furniture, tapestries, wallpapers, ceramics and glass, as well as toys from the Middle Ages to the present day. It contains numerous works in the Art Nouveau and Art Déco styles. The collection is supplemented by rare examples of fashion, design and objects from the Middle East.
MAD owns over one million artifacts.

Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac founded in 2006.
The museum collects ethnographic objects, art, photographs, documents, musical instruments, textiles from Asia, Africa, the Americas and Oceania.
The entire collection includes over 1360,000 exhibits, of which 3,500 are exhibited.
The exhibitions cover 40,600 square meters.

The Musei Capitolini (Capitoline Museums) opened to the public in 1734. The Musei Capitolini are among the oldest museums in the world. The history of the museums dates back to 1471, when Pope Sixtus IV gave the people of Rome a collection of ancient bronzes and located them on the Capitoline Hill. Since then, the collection has been enriched with many ancient statues, works of medieval and Renaissance art, jewelry and coins.
The Musei Capitolini are located in Palazzo Senatorio, Palazzo dei Conservatori, Palazzo Nuovo, Palazzo Caffarelli, Galleria di congiunzione, Centrale Montemartini.
Some of the biggest attractions are the sculptures:
- Capitoline Wolf (5th century BC)
- Cupid and Psyche (3rd century BC)
- Dying Gaul (1st-2nd century AD)
- Equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius (c. 175 AD)
- Bernini's Medusa (c. 1638-1648)
The Musei Capitolini has 12,977 square meters of exhibition space.

The Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (MANN, National Archeological Museum of Naples) opened in 1816.
Main collections:
- Farnese collection, e.g. marbles the Farnese Hercules, the Farnese Bull, jewel collection,
- Ancient Roman artifacts from nearby Pompeii, Stabiae and Herculaneum, e.g. mosaics and the Secret Room,
- collection from the time of ancient Egypt.
The exhibition area is 12,650 square meters.

Museo de Arqueologia de Alta Montana (MAAM) opened in 2004.
MAAM presents an archaeological find discovered on the peaks of the Llullaillaco volcano (6,700 meters above sea level) that dates back over 500 years ago. These are the 3 bodies of the Inca children, the heroes of the Capocha ceremony during which they were sacrificed to act as intermediaries between the people and the gods.
The museum area is 1,507 square meters.
